“As a 501(c)(4), donations to ASACP were not tax-deductible as a charitable donation; it is considered an advertising or ordinary business expense. Many people asked ASACP to establish a charity, so that in addition to their sponsorship and membership payments, they could donate money that would be a charitable tax-deductible gift. ASACP CEO Honored as a Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program Class of 2008 Graduate

The Leadership Redondo Beach program is similar to the many other Chamber of Commerce Leadership programs around the world. It requires a two-year commitment. The first year focuses on educating participants about the community while meeting with numerous city and business community leaders.
